Circadian. Lift

the weekend that was

Had an early start due to a no-pitch lecturer. Annoyed though - need to know the drugs!

Lost time in the office of a good friend - thawed bones with chain tea and window-scattered streaming winter rays.

Celebrated a birthday by heater and hamburger at a friend’s new posie.

Early rise and study followed by reward coffee and trip up the road to the Hazel Food Market. Collaborator catch-up. Indulged in purchasing twenty killer brownies, hearty veggies and a delish steak ‘n avo baguette ( curing a serious hunger pang ).

Meeting with collaborator on collaboration. More coffee.

Call(ed) to theatre for some anaesthesia schooling. Got grilled by registrar on second-year Physiology. Mildly embarrassing.

Walked the talk with team Reebok around a 5km route of people-watching delight. The fresh air was a real treat. Best bit - the lemonade stand en route. Manned by two feisty teens - they had the sweetest stall and good-girl vibes to boot. Pity about the dishwasher lemonade. (Apologies)

Vida-of-the-week award to the gents at Parktown North for my post-walk single, wet, Mucho Meia.

Beatlemania explained to those who never knew. Singing and general happiness.

Slurping (!) of Gran’s hearty veg soup allowed for gathering of strength for the week ahead.

Last words on the weekend that was - an umbrella of merriment.
